The bedrooms are simple and cosy, with family furniture and wooden beds that look as though they have been there forever. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.

One room has a hob, sink and fridge – a bonus if you have little ones with you.

 Some of the rooms open directly onto the garden, where, in nice weather, breakfast is served.
